At State of Designs, we strive to deliver high-quality digital solutions that exceed expectations. Because our services involve customized creative and technical labor, our refund policy is structured as follows:

1. General Policy Due to the digital and service-based nature of our work (Website Development, Branding, SEO, and SMM), payments are generally non-refundable. Once a project begins, resources and creative hours are immediately allocated to your account.

2. Deposits and Initial Payments All deposits (typically 50% of the project total) are non-refundable. This fee secures your place in our production schedule and covers the cost of research, strategy, and initial concept development.

3. Service-Specific Refund Terms

• Website Development & Design: If a project is canceled after the “Discovery” phase but before the “Design” phase begins, a partial refund may be considered at the sole discretion of State of Designs, minus an administrative fee. No refunds will be issued once the design or coding phase has started.

• SEO & SMM: These are monthly recurring services. We require a 30-day notice for cancellation. No refunds are provided for months already billed or for work already performed.

• Graphic Design & Logos: No refunds will be issued once the first set of concepts has been delivered to the client.

4. Project Delays and Abandonment If a project is delayed by the client for more than 30 days (due to lack of feedback or missing assets), State of Designs reserves the right to terminate the project. In such cases, all payments made to date are forfeited and no refunds will be issued.

5. Technical Issues and Third Parties We cannot offer refunds for issues caused by third-party services, such as hosting downtime, plugin malfunctions, or algorithm changes by Google or Meta.

6. Chargebacks By engaging our services, you agree to contact us directly to resolve any billing disputes. Unauthorized chargebacks will be contested and may result in the immediate suspension of all active services and websites.

7. Refund Requests All refund requests must be submitted in writing to our billing department. We will review each request on a case-by-case basis and provide a written response within 7-10 business days.
